Targets of the programme

Market Requirements

The increasing internationalisation of business has led to the development of complex international supply chains. These demand qualified logisticians who can plan and steer innovative and transnational logistics concepts.

The rapidly increasing logistics market has, according to experts, an additional demand of 80.000 managers annually. The companies cannot cover more than 75% of this demand by conventional measures.

Besides that, the reorganisation from diploma to shorter bachelor studies in Europe causes an increasing demand of an additional qualification on a master level in the future.

The postgraduate study programme Master of Business Administration in International Supply Chain Management was conceived to prepare the logistics manager for the new quality of logistics and to cope with the chang-ing education structures. The study is offered on a part-time basis and provides a broad scientific qualification for the management of logistics processes within and between companies.

Educational Target

The postgraduate MBA-programme "International Supply Chain Management" offers the best support in preparing logistics managers for the new quality and complexity of logistics. The aim of this study programme is to qualify students for upper and top level managerial careers in an international context.
